The Standards Behind Every Pop

Every ingredient in a Benni Pop is chosen with intention: for flavor, integrity, and the people behind it. From how our coconuts are harvested to how our packaging breaks down, the details matter.

Fresh mint leaves growing densely in a garden setting

Fresh Mint

Source: Santa Cruz, California

Our mint is sourced fresh from Sea to Sky Farm, a woman-owned farm in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Harvested close to home and used at peak freshness, it brings a clean, cooling lift that keeps our pops bright and refreshing. Never overpowering.

Coconut Base

Source: Sri Lanka & Philippines

Coconut is the foundation of Benni Pops, so where it comes from matters. Our coconut milk is Fair Trade certified and sourced from partners that prohibit monkey labor and follow ethical harvesting practices. We choose non-GMO coconut milk, water, and oil for their clean taste and smooth texture. Never chalky, never heavy. It’s what gives our frozen desserts their light, refreshing feel.

Single-Origin Honey

Source: Brazil

Our single-origin honey comes from the biodiverse Atlantic Forest of Brazil, spanning high-altitude Araucaria pine forests to palm trees and mangroves near the Iguaçu River. Our supplier practices organic beekeeping in GMO-free, pesticide-free areas and leaves ample honey and pollen for the bees. No hive destruction. No chemical shortcuts. Just honey that reflects care for both bees and land.

Direct Trade Cocoa

Source: Dominican Republic

Our cocoa is sourced through a worker-owned company built on direct trade partnerships in the Dominican Republic. Farmers are paid fairly, land is respected, and quality is never compromised. The result is cocoa with real depth and warmth. Smooth and rich, it’s chocolate that tastes like chocolate should.

Arabica Coffee

Source: Mexico

Our carefully selected coffee comes from non-GMO, organic farms in Mexico, chosen for smoothness and balance. It adds depth without burnt flavors, complementing our frozen desserts rather than overpowering them.

Adaptogenic Extracts

Source: Worldwide

Each Benni Pop includes a carefully selected adaptogenic extract sourced from trusted suppliers with over 40 years of experience. Our non-GMO mushroom extracts are rigorously tested for purity and potency and produced using responsible cultivation and extraction methods. Chosen to complement the flavor, never compete with it. Each mushroom extract adds a functional layer without changing how the pop tastes.

Home Compostable Packaging

Our organic frozen treats are wrapped in certified home-compostable packaging. Designed to break down under proper composting conditions, it helps keeps plastic out of landfills and waterways.

It would’ve been easier (and cheaper) to use plastic packaging. We chose not to. Because how something is made matters just as much as how it tastes.

Powered by the Sun

Our commercial kitchen is partially powered by solar energy, offsetting up to 50% of our electricity use. It’s one more way we work to reduce our footprint while making food we feel good about.
